Not having been up for over 6 months it was high time to go over and have a look at the progress so far, especially since it looks like proper digging has started up again. However, no one was there on site this weekend so it was just myself and Pete having a wonder around. It's strangely eerie when no one is around and there are no sounds of digging going on.

Things have definately changed since last time. A lot of housing keeping has been carried out, there are now boards over the rail sleepers for barrowing, a ventilation fan for ventilation the the shaft bottom, fully waterproof electrics, H&S signs!, and a gate for the entrance. It is looking like a proper working mine.
